More city disputes in municipal court

Montana municipal courts now hear more city-related civil cases up to $50,000. Collection cases to or from a city qualify when the principal is $50,000 or less, not counting interest or court costs. Cases to recover city personal property qualify when the property value is $50,000 or less, not counting damages for taking or detention. Listed claims like official bond or contract breaches, city-related damages, forfeited recognizances, and collections on appeal bonds are covered at $50,000 or less. This moves some disputes from district court to municipal court.
