2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.

Digital copies for livestock transport

The law lets you carry a digital copy of required papers when transporting livestock. A digital copy can stand in for inspection certificates, travel permits, market consignment permits, and market release certificates. You must show it when asked by a sheriff, deputy, constable, highway patrol officer, or state stock inspector. This applies when an inspection is required, after a change of ownership, or when animals move under a market consignment or market release certificate.

Extra rules when using livestock permits

The law applies the standard transport-and-sale duties to animals moved or sold under transportation permits in this law. If you use these permits, you must follow the same inspection and record rules that already apply. This can mean extra compliance steps for transporters and sellers.
