More officers can carry guns near polls

New Mexico expands its polling-place gun exception to commissioned law enforcement officers with arrest powers. These officers can carry firearms while performing official duties or following their agency’s policies. Certified law enforcement officers remain exempt under the same duty or agency-policy conditions.
