Nevada Medicaid covers cancer screenings

If you have Nevada Medicaid, screening for lung, colorectal, and prostate cancer is covered. The Department must apply for any needed federal waiver or State Plan change to get federal funding and must cooperate with federal officials. The state health director runs and manages this coverage through the Department’s divisions. Work to set rules and prepare starts now. Coverage applies beginning January 1, 2026.
