One-time funds for Nevada colleges

Beginning July 1, 2025, the state provides one-time funds for 2025–2027 college operations and instruction. University of Nevada, Reno: $22.4 million. University of Nevada, Las Vegas: $23.6 million. Nevada State University: $1.07 million. College of Southern Nevada: $5.33 million. Great Basin College: $408,738. Western Nevada College: $221,370. Truckee Meadows Community College: $1.04 million.

One-time funds for UNLV law and dental

Beginning July 1, 2025, UNLV’s professional schools get one-time operating and teaching funds for 2025–2027. William S. Boyd School of Law: $867,708. School of Dental Medicine: $2.12 million.

Small grant for prison education

Beginning July 1, 2025, the Prison Education Program gets a one-time $2,976 for 2025–2027 operations and instruction. The funding supports program classes and services.

Support for farm research and Extension

Beginning July 1, 2025, the state funds agricultural research and Extension outreach for 2025–2027. Agricultural Experiment Station: $113,154. Cooperative Extension Service: $277,476. Money supports operations and instruction for farmers and rural communities.

Deadlines to use these college funds

Leftover money from these appropriations cannot be committed after June 30, 2027. No spending is allowed after September 17, 2027. Any unspent money must return to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027.
