Free public rooms for party committees

Beginning July 1, 2025, when a room is available in a Nevada state or local government building open to the public, the officer in charge must let a state or county central committee of a major political party use it on request. In presidential election years, the space is free for any purpose. In other years, the space is free for a precinct meeting. For other party uses in non‑presidential years, any fee cannot be higher than what other groups pay at that time. Buildings owned or used by the Nevada System of Higher Education are not covered. A precinct meeting is a meeting of the party’s state or county central committee to elect delegates and alternates for a state or county party convention.
