Florence McClure women's prison upgrades

The law gives $398,347 to the Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center to replace culinary and laundry equipment. It also provides $8,971 for security equipment in FY 2025-2026 and $994 in FY 2026-2027. It provides $1,361 for small equipment in FY 2025-2026 and $1,361 in FY 2026-2027. Money is available starting July 1, 2025. FY 2025-2026 funds cannot be committed after June 30, 2026 and must revert by September 18, 2026 if unused. FY 2026-2027 funds cannot be committed after June 30, 2027 and must revert by September 17, 2027 if unused. The $398,347 cannot be committed after June 30, 2027, and any unspent money must return to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027.

Lovelock prison equipment and security upgrades

The law gives $227,313 to Lovelock Correctional Center to buy locksmith gear and replace laundry, maintenance, and warehouse equipment. It also provides $2,982 for security equipment in FY 2025-2026 and $994 in FY 2026-2027. Money is available starting July 1, 2025. FY 2025-2026 funds cannot be committed after June 30, 2026 and must revert by September 18, 2026 if unused. FY 2026-2027 funds cannot be committed after June 30, 2027 and must revert by September 17, 2027 if unused. The $227,313 cannot be committed after June 30, 2027, and any unspent money must return to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027.

The law gives $147,054 to Ely State Prison to replace maintenance, warehouse, and security equipment. Money is available starting July 1, 2025. Unused funds cannot be committed after June 30, 2027. Any unspent money must return to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027.
