More aid and repairs for hate-crime victims

If property you own was damaged during the crime, the fund can pay for repairs up to $1,000 per incident. You can apply through the normal victim-compensation claim process.

Extra funds for hate-crime victim aid

The state provides $30,000 in FY 2025–2026 and $30,000 in FY 2026–2027 to the Victims of Crime fund for hate-crime victims. For these funds, a “hate crime” means a crime with extra or enhanced penalties under NRS 193.1675 or 207.185. The money must be used to give monetary aid to eligible victims.
