Ticket buyer protections extended to 2027

The law keeps the rules for selling and reselling tickets to concerts, sports, and shows in place through June 30, 2027. These are the Article 25 ticket rules as they stood in 2010. Most of those rules end on June 30, 2027, but section 25.11 stays in effect after that date. Tickets printed before the new article took effect do not need new on-ticket printing if clear notices at the point of sale and at the venue show the higher allowed premium price and, where it applies, the ban on sales within 1,500 feet of the venue.
