Applicants must show character, competence, and training to run a clinical lab or blood bank. The certificate covers supervising tests and reporting results.

Updated qualifications for public health jobs

The law updates which public health jobs must meet set qualifications. It removes the specific listing for directors or other persons in charge of laboratories.
