Renewable energy contractors must use apprenticeship agreements

All contractors and subcontractors doing construction for covered renewable energy systems must use apprenticeship agreements. These agreements follow Article 23 of New York Labor Law. For covered thermal energy networks, they must also use pre-apprenticeship direct entry providers registered with the New York Department of Labor. The law takes effect immediately upon enactment.
