The law lets the state give about 15 acres in Wilton to the Veterans and Community Housing Coalition for $1. The coalition must file an accurate land survey and a site plan the state approves. It must apply to the Office of General Services within two years of the law’s start. After it applies, the transfer must be finished within one year. The land must be used only for housing and supportive services for public benefit, including homeless and at‑risk veterans. If that use ends, ownership goes back to New York State. The law takes effect immediately and ends three years later.
