Liquor license allowed for one Middletown site

The state liquor authority can issue an on-premises liquor license for one specific parcel in Middletown, Orange County. This applies even though the site is within 200 feet of a school or place of worship. The business must sell food or drinks for people to consume there. The authority still has discretion to grant or deny the license. The exception covers only the parcel described in the law (conveyed to Paul Wyman in 1997). The law takes effect immediately.
