Daily fines on third-party reservation services

The law fines third-party restaurant reservation services that make bookings without a restaurant’s permission. Penalties are up to $1,000 for each violation. Each day counts as a separate violation for each affected restaurant, so fines can add up. Anyone who causes another person or company to break this rule can also be fined.
