SUNY health care facility rules extended to 2031

The law keeps the rules for SUNY-run health care facilities in place through June 30, 2031. It takes effect immediately and replaces the prior repeal date of June 30, 2026. Hospitals and clinics keep using the same authorities to operate and contract for care. Patients and staff continue under the same program rules.

University building and purchasing rules extended to 2031

The law keeps SUNY and community college building and capital rules in place through June 30, 2031. It also keeps purchasing rules for state and city universities through that date. This takes effect immediately and replaces the prior repeal date of June 30, 2026. Campuses and procurement officers keep using the same bidding paths and exceptions. Vendors can keep competing and working under the same rules for construction, goods, and services.
