Authorizes the commissioner of general services to transfer and convey certain state land to the Syosset central school district

Syosset school district gains $1 land option

The law lets New York transfer 3.44 acres in Syosset to the Syosset Central School District for $1. The district must apply within one year after the law takes effect. Its application must include a school board resolution accepting the land-use limits. The land must be used only to build new or expand existing facilities at Berry Hill Elementary School. The deed must include this restriction, and ownership returns to New York State if the land is not accepted or used for that purpose. The commissioner can set additional transfer conditions, and the district can submit an accurate survey for approval. The law takes effect immediately and expires two years after enactment.
