Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma courts may deny bail to people charged with driving under the influence. The person must have two prior felony convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or another intoxicating substance. Proof of guilt must be evident, or the presumption of guilt must be great. The court must also find that no release condition can assure the safety of the community or any person. Bail denial is not automatic.
