The law extends key Columbia Basin endorsement rules to January 2, 2032. A 2013 law section and a 2015 law section now repeal on January 2, 2032 instead of January 2, 2026. Changes passed in 2021 to ORS 496.146 now start on January 2, 2032. Until then, the current rules stay in place.
The law keeps the Columbia River Fisheries Enhancement Fund in place until January 2, 2032. The fund is abolished on that date. Any money left on January 2, 2032 moves to the State Wildlife Fund. This replaces the prior January 2, 2026 end date.
