For the two-year period starting July 1, 2025, Oregon's labor bureau faces no spending cap on Wage Security Fund wage claim payments. This gives the bureau spending authority for those payments without a budget cap. It does not change who qualifies or set an individual payment amount.
For the two-year period starting July 1, 2025, Oregon's labor bureau has a $307,006 spending cap on certain lottery money. The cap covers money allocated from the Veterans’ Services Fund, established under ORS 406.140, to carry out ORS 660.220. This limits agency spending, not individual veterans’ payments.
For the two-year budget period starting July 1, 2025, Oregon provides its labor bureau about $35.17 million in General Fund money. The Bureau of Labor and Industries also faces a roughly $40.45 million spending cap on fees and other non-federal, non-lottery revenue. A separate cap limits federal fund spending to about $2.37 million. These amounts fund and limit agency operations; they do not set household payments.
