Oregon parole board funding and spending limits

Effective July 1, 2025, the law funds Oregon’s State Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision. It provides about $17.9 million from the General Fund for the two-year budget period beginning that day. For that period, the board can spend up to $13,229 from fees and other collected revenue, including general receipts. That cap excludes lottery and federal funds and applies despite other laws limiting spending. The law creates no direct household payment or new household payment requirement.
