The law establishes state-sponsored group life insurance, allowed under federal law and offered exclusively through the Oregon National Guard Association. The Adjutant General may help all Oregon National Guard members access the program and buy its products. The Adjutant General may also allow program representatives to brief members during active or inactive duty training. These steps are optional, so access and briefings are not guaranteed. The law sets no premium prices or benefit amounts and provides no program funding.
