Broader help for kids in Family Court

The law requires every state, town, and city department, and every school and school district, to help the Family Court when it is within their legal power. Any institution or agency that serves a child must give the court any information about that child the court asks for. The Family Court can seek help from child-protection and child-aid groups and must use services those groups make available. These rules apply to cases about delinquent or dependent children.
