Tiverton property tax credit for seniors

Tiverton can give a property tax credit to homeowners age 65 or older who own and live in their home. Age is measured as of December 31 of the prior year. You must apply to the town tax assessor, and the ordinance sets the credit amount. Only one credit is allowed per home if there are co-owners. This credit is on top of any other property tax exemptions you have.
