Trafficking hotline signs in transit hubs

Public and quasi‑public transportation agencies must post a human trafficking hotline sign. They must place it in every station, rest area, and welcome center that is open to the public. The sign must show the state and national hotline information.

Hotline signs required at select workplaces

Certain workplaces must post a human trafficking hotline sign where workers and the public can see it. This applies to strip clubs and other sexually oriented businesses; any business found a prostitution nuisance; job‑recruitment centers; hospitals; and emergency‑care providers. The sign must show the state and national hotline information. If an employer knowingly fails to post it, the Department of Labor and Training fines $300 per violation. This is the only penalty under this law, and the money goes to the state violent crimes indemnity account to pay victim awards.
