More unemployment pay when hours drop

If your hours are cut, you can get partial unemployment. You are partially unemployed if your weekly wages are under 150% of your weekly benefit rate. Only wages above 50% of your weekly benefit rate count against your check. Your benefit equals your weekly benefit rate minus those counted wages, and wages plus benefits cannot go over 150% of your weekly benefit rate. These rules apply to weeks starting May 23, 2021 and are now permanent.
