World Cup extended bar hours

The law lets any Rhode Island on‑premises liquor licensee operate 24 hours a day from June 11 to July 19, 2026, in all licensed areas. You may sell and allow drinking from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next day while this is in effect. No application or fee is required to use these hours. You must notify the local licensing authority or police at least 24 hours before using the extended hours. Your city or town council can vote to opt out or limit the extension, but not below its normal hours.
