Exeter tax break for disabled veterans

Beginning with the December 31, 2026 assessment, Exeter knocks $5,000 off the taxable value of your home. You must be a U.S. veteran the VA has rated totally disabled from a service‑connected condition. The property must be assessed in the town of Exeter. This lowers your local property tax bill each year.
