Cumberland police lodge charter restored

The law lets Cumberland Lodge #14, Fraternal Order of Police, get its Rhode Island charter back. The lodge must file missing annual reports for 1977–2026 with the Secretary of State and pay the filing fees. It must also pay a compromise penalty set by the Attorney General to the General Treasurer. All filings and payments must be completed before December 31, 2026. When done, the state vacates the past forfeiture or revocation and restores all rights as if no break happened.
