A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 59-101-50, RELATING TO ENROLLMENT PREFERENCE GIVEN TO RESIDENTS, SO AS TO PROVIDE AFTER JULY 1, 2026 PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING IN THIS STATE SHALL ENSURE THAT AT LEAST SEVENTY PERCENT OF THE APPLICANTS IT ACCEPTS FOR ADMISSION RESIDE IN THIS STATE.
