A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 44-7-305 SO AS TO REQUIRE NURSING HOMES AND ASSISTED LIVING CENTERS TO INSTALL, OPERATE, AND MAINTAIN VIDEO MONITORING EQUIPMENT AT EVERY FACILITY ENTRANCE, EXIT, AND COMMON AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUOUS MONITORING AND TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO ESTABLISH A SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING RECORDED IMAGES.
