More people can vote in White Bluff

The law updates who can vote in White Bluff city elections. If you live in White Bluff and are qualified to vote in Tennessee, you can vote in town elections. If you live elsewhere in Dickson County, you can vote if you own property in town. You must own at least a one-half interest, and the property must be 5,000 square feet or more. All voters must show registration receipts and register under Tennessee election laws. This change applies only after a two-thirds vote by the town’s legislative body. Approval is then certified to the secretary of state.
