Dedicated road maintenance funding for Tullahoma
Beginning with fiscal year 2025-2026, Tullahoma must budget 3.8% of its annual operating budget for street and road maintenance. The yearly amount must be at least $1.5 million and cover maintenance within city limits. The law takes effect for these purposes only with approval by two-thirds of the city's legislative body. The presiding officer must proclaim approval or disapproval and certify the result to the secretary of state.
