Wineries and manufacturers can share sales space
Tennessee allows licensed wineries and alcoholic-beverage manufacturers to share overlapping space for tastings and retail sales. Customers can buy drinks to consume there or elsewhere. The businesses’ premises must touch, be on the same deeded property, and have at least 51% common ownership. All drinks sold in the shared area must be made on-site at that property by either business. The shared area cannot include either business’s bonded premises. The law took effect immediately upon becoming law.
