Tennessee adopts federal manufactured home definition

Tennessee now uses the federal meaning of “manufactured home.” The law updates the term in state commerce and vehicle laws and removes a separate definition in building and health rules. This creates one uniform standard across these areas. It can change how titling, registration, lending, and consumer rules treat your home. The change takes effect July 1, 2025.
