The law adds official city and county seals with historic imagery to Tennessee’s heritage-protection rules. If a seal shows a historic conflict, entity, event, figure, or element, it now falls under these state rules. Local governments must follow the state process to change, replace, or remove such seals. The law takes effect upon becoming a law in 2025.
