Election workers trained on noncitizen ID rules

The law requires Tennessee’s coordinator of elections to add training on ID rules to statewide election training. Training must explain temporary ID cards issued to non‑U.S. citizens that are not accepted for voter identification. Election officials and poll workers must be taught which IDs are not allowed. The requirement starts January 1, 2026.
