Technology authority repeal requires Knox County approval
The law repeals the acts governing the Tennessee Technology Corridor Development Authority, subject to Knox County approval. The repeal takes effect only with approval by a two-thirds vote of the county's legislative body. The body's presiding officer must announce approval or rejection and certify the result to Tennessee's Secretary of State. The law makes no tax, fee, or funding changes and states no direct household benefit or cost.
