Any state department, board, agency, commission, or council created in 2032 ends on June 30, 2034. The state may continue, reestablish, or restructure a terminated entity under this chapter. The law also deletes one item from an oversight list in statute. Households are only affected if an ended or restarted entity handles services they use.
The law ends the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact on June 30, 2034. Occupational therapists lose multistate practice privileges that day. To work across state lines, they must hold separate licenses in each state. Patients may see fewer providers who can practice in multiple states.
