Sex offender board and agencies created in 2032 sunset
The Sex Offender Treatment Board ends June 30, 2034, unless the state continues, reestablishes, or restructures it under Tennessee law. Any state department, commission, board, agency, or council created in calendar year 2032 also ends June 30, 2034, unless continued or reorganized. The law is now in effect and sets these sunset dates. Services or oversight could change if an entity is not reestablished.
