Tennessee veterans' homes board faces updated oversight

The law moves the Tennessee State Veterans' Homes Board to a different list in the state's review system. The board must report to the Education, Health, and General Welfare Joint Evaluation Committee by December 31, 2026. It must explain progress addressing findings and observations from the Division of State Audit's December 2025 performance audit. The law took effect upon becoming law. It does not directly change veterans' benefits, eligibility, or household costs.
