More Tennessee rivers gain scenic status

Effective upon becoming law, the law expands Tennessee's scenic river designations. The full Buffalo River is covered, including portions in Wayne, Perry, Humphreys, and Lewis counties previously excluded. The Duck River's earlier segment descriptions are replaced with coverage of the entire river, except the Tennessee Valley Authority-designated Normandy Reservoir segment. Four stretches also gain Class II Pastoral River Area status. Beaverdam Creek runs from where Brush Fork and Piney Fork join to the Duck River, all in Hickman County. Lick Creek runs from where its North and South Forks join in Williamson County to the Duck River in Hickman County. Piney River runs from where the West and East Piney rivers join in Dickson County to the Duck River in Hickman County. Swan Creek runs from where Dry Branch joins Swan Creek to the Duck River, all in Hickman County.
