Summary

Prohibition on trespassing on emergency vehicles; penalty. Provides that any person who enters or remains upon or within an emergency vehicle, defined in the bill, without the permission of, or after having been forbidden to do so by, the owner, lessee, or authorized operator is guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor.

Crime to ride after a transit ban

If you are banned from riding public transit under state law, you cannot enter or ride a transit vehicle. Doing so is a Class 1 misdemeanor. This enforces bans and protects riders and staff.

No trespassing on transit or emergency vehicles

The law makes it a crime to enter or stay in a public transit vehicle or an emergency vehicle without permission. It is a Class 4 misdemeanor. "Emergency vehicle" includes public works and public utility vehicles. "Public transportation service" covers buses, trains, and other surface vehicles that serve the public on a regular basis.
