Hotline signs at all Virginia rest areas

The law requires VDOT to post signs at every Interstate rest area in Virginia. The signs tell people about a human trafficking hotline and how to get help or report. Each sign includes information on how to spot trafficking. Each sign has a QR code or website that links to a secure, multilingual platform approved by the Attorney General. The platform lets people report anonymously by internet or by mobile text or voice and sends credible tips in real time to police and victim services. Signs must be easy to see and meet state posting standards.
