The law requires consent from both the patient and the provider before any telehealth visit is recorded. This covers video telemedicine, store-and-forward consults, and audio-only phone calls. Recording is not allowed unless both clearly agree. The law takes effect April 20, 2026. The law does not list exceptions in these rules.
