Death of contestee in election contest abates the action; if vacancy in office exists, the governor must issue writ of election to fill such vacancy.

Newspaper must be published in county for one year, regularly and consecutively, before it can accept legal publications.

Delinquent taxes not all to be credited to teachers’ fund. School board cannot authorize the setting up of any fund except those named in statutes.

Tax law can provide receipts to go to exclusive fund for specific purpose.

A person engaged in transporting property over the highways of this State must have license to do so as contract hauler.

Entitled to no expenses in addition to maximum allowance under first 13 subdivisions of Sec. 9935 Laws of Missouri 1933.

House Bill 124, page 166 Laws of Missouri Extra Session, 1933-34, applicable to general personal real estate of cities of fourth class, but not to special benefits.

State Treasurer has no authority to receive intangible personal property which has escheated to the State.

Road Commissioner in a Special Road District cannot work on the roads in his district and draw compensation therefor. Special road districts are political subdivisions of the State with reference to the Nepotism Amendment.

Relating to power of county boards of equalization to make assessment of property omitted from assessor’s books.

Cities or counties that have registration of voters may not take advantage of Sec. 10389, i.e., has to appoint two judges and two clerks-such cities or counties are governed by the General Election Law.
