Camso / Michelin – Loadstar Plant (Sri Lanka)
Camso Loadstar rubber track manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka; established 1984 as a joint venture. Natural rubber "forms the backbone" of production, drawing on Sri Lanka's domestic NR supply for 25+ years. Produces rubber tracks for agricultural equipment (combine harvesters, track tractors). Part of Michelin's Camso division (acquired 2019). Sri Lanka produces ~90,000 tonnes of natural rubber/year; Loadstar's proximity to this supply gives structural cost advantage. Camso holds 26% of the global agricultural rubber track market — the largest single-company position.
