POSCO Pohang GGBFS Granulation Plant
POSCO is a major GGBFS producer from its Pohang and Gwangyang blast furnaces (~5% global share). South Korean GGBFS is a major US import source — filling the gap left by the near-absence of US domestic GGBFS granulation capacity. US slag cement consumption (~8 Mt/year) heavily depends on Korean and Japanese imports.
