Title 16 › Chapter 53— CONTROL OF ILLEGALLY TAKEN FISH AND WILDLIFE › § 3376
The Secretary may make rules, after talking with the Treasury Secretary, to carry out sections 3372(f), 3373, and 3374. The Secretaries of the Interior and Commerce must together make the specific rules for marking and labeling fish or wildlife containers under 3372(b), and those rules must follow current commercial practice. The Secretary must also work with federal and state agencies to make any rules needed for 3372(e). Beginning in fiscal year 1983, and only to the extent and in the amounts Congress provides in advance in appropriations acts, the Secretary may enter into agreements and other arrangements with agencies, tribes, institutions, or other parties to carry out this chapter. The Secretaries of Agriculture and the Interior must jointly define the terms used in 3371(g)(2)(A) for enforcement, after consulting the appropriate agencies.
