When the owners give Tract A, B, or C to the United States under section 45a–1, the Secretary may, if he chooses, give them official title to other land of about the same value. For the owner of Tract A that land is Tract D, about 2.50 acres in Tulare County (SE 1/4 of section 33, township 16 S, range 29 E, Mount Diablo meridian). For the owners of Tracts B and C that land is Tract E, about 188 acres in township 17 S, range 29 E, Mount Diablo meridian. Tract E is made of three parts: the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of section 4 (subject to section 818); the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of section 5; and about 68 acres of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of section 5, excluding the surveyed 200‑foot strip shown on map “D” of exhibit “K” filed with the Federal Power Commission on December 12, 1923. The Secretary may attach terms he finds necessary.
