Title 16 › Chapter 3— FORESTS; FOREST SERVICE; REFORESTATION; MANAGEMENT › Subchapter I— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 577d
Gives extra authority to buy land for the national forest, but only as a supplement to existing laws and not as a repeal of them except where this law later says so. The extra authority applies only to specific areas in Cook, Lake, and Saint Louis Counties in Minnesota. Those areas are parts of Townships 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, and 68 north, measured from the Fourth Principal Meridian. The law covers many whole townships and many specific numbered sections within those townships as listed in the statute. It also includes certain parts of a few sections that lie east of Crane Lake.
